Yesterday morning when I woke up I found McKinley in he floor next to my bed…

 She already had her uniform on & dressed for school.

The creator of these loom bands is one rich man! They are all the craze right now and McKinley has made every family member and all her friends bracelets.

Spring break recap

The girls had their spring break this week. We stayed in town and just tried to do a little something fun each day. But what I'm finding out is…it is hard to plan age appropriate activities when you have a preschooler, one elementary child and one middle schooler)!

We have been to the park, the beach, flown our kite and swam all this week:

It has been a good week and went by way to fast!

uncommon weekemd

This weekend was our youth groups UNCOMMON weekend. They spend the weekend at a host home and have several worship services, fun outings & a service project.

Morgan has been involved for the last 2 years but this year I decided to be a host home. We were suppose to have 7 girls but on Friday that number grew to 11…yes, 11! I will admit at first I freaked out a little…ok a lot…I mean I started twitching just thinking about all the bags/clothing/crap that was going to be all over my living room. Have I mentioned before that I tend to be a little OCD? I believe that everything has a place, and I like for things to ALWAYS be in that place. So you can see why the twitching started:) I knew everyone would be sleeping in the living room floor, but I came up with the great plan to have all the girls store all their bags & such in McKinley's room…where I could close the door & not look at all the stuff:)

But I have to say they were the BEST group of girls. It was a really smooth weekend and I would have them all back in a heartbeat.  Although next time I will monitor the chocolate chip cookie intake of the group. I think they ate about 3 dozen or so over the course of the weekend. If you think boys eat more than girls think again because these girls can and did put it away.

 I think we went through 7 bags of chips.

In all, it was a great weekend and now I am off to take a nap…after I straighten up the house :-).
