Yesterday was Mother's Day Tea for Madison's class. My little firecracker was SO excited. She had been talking about it for over a week.
My place setting:
It was such a sweet morning with my youngest.
I cannot believe we are in May! This is a VERY busy month for us. I have THREE graduates this year.... Madison graduates from preschool on the 22nd. David graduates from Seminary on the 17th and Morgan graduates from 8th grade, Yes, I know that's a little weird but the private school that the girls go to only goes through the 8th grade. Morgan has been at Bell Shoals since she was 3! I am so sad she's leaving this school but excited about the future as well.
They have a full graduation ceremony with cap & gown. They have rented out a country club for a dinner with DJ and all. lots of pictures to come of all my graduates.
Happy Hump Day!

Welcome to the thoughts I am thinking, the memories I am making, and the lessons I am learning along the way.

Shopping, Birthday & Easter eggs
Morgan had two friends spend the night on Thursday for her birthday and on Friday we spent the day shopping! Instead of a party she wanted $ for a little shopping spree. So, for the past two days she has been shopping and this afternoon Morgan said, "Mom, I love this it is so much better than a party!" Which is totally fine with me, because party's stress me out.
We spent 8 hours on Friday shopping!
So the end result of 2 days of shopping is this:
And while we were shopping the Little's were with a sitter at home having fun. I bought eggs for them to dye and of course I didn't want to miss Madison's reaction so I left my camera out for Jasmine to take pictures for me :)
It was a GOOD Friday indeed!

Birthday Blesings
Morgan, the one who made me a mother for the first time is 14 today!
| 5 years old! |
I use to always roll my eyes when people would say to me ( usually when I had a screaming toddler) " enjoy these days because they will be gone before you know it" Well those days are gone and in a lot of ways I do miss those days so much. Morgan, you have grown up way to fast. I can't believe in just a few short months you will be starting high school.( please pray for my sanity!)
I am praying that you will have a great 14th year and that God would move in your life in a big way this year.

Seder Meal
They started the day out doing a Hebrew dance in chapel:
I am so thankful that just as God rescued the Israelites from slavery, He has rescued me as well. I am no longer a slave. I am FREE!

Easter Eggstravaganza
Yesterday our church had our annual EE. We had over 2,000 people in the community come out.
My girls love this event each year, we have bouncy houses, bungee jumps, face painting , petting farm and so much more.
Here are a few pictures:
I love seeing our church come together to be a light for our community. It takes 400 volunteers to pull this event off. I've said it before and I will say it again… I LOVE MY CHURCH!
Happy Sunday!

Down ONE
This week I am down one child. Morgan left yesterday to go on her 8th grade class trip to North Carolina. I took her to the school at the crack of 5:15… A time of the morning that I believe NO ONE should ever see!
everyone circled up praying before they left:
You may remember at the beginning of this year I mentioned that Morgan does the morning show every morning at school. Since the 8th graders are all gone this week they asked McKinley & Madison to be on the morning show on Tuesday…EEEK! I'm not going to lie, I was nervous especially for Madison. I never know what kind of mood she will be in from day to day so I wasn't sure if she would cooperate or if she would grab the mic and sing the whole soundtrack to Frozen. I am happy to say, they both did really well.
In the green room having a quick run-through before they went on air.
And then as if my morning had not already been busy enough (remember I had to have Morgan at the school that morning at 5:15) after the girls did the morning show I chaperoned a field trip for Madison's class to the Glazier museum..But it was a fun day and she loved the museum, here is a few pictures from the field trip.
I may have a DR. in the family one day:) She played in that "vet" area for a long time.
