Beach day 4

By now it's kind of the same old thing each day...wake up, have coffee and muffins with Gloria. On a side note, however, David pointed out a little flaw if you will in my personality in that there is really no "middle ground" with me. Either I don't want to talk to you at all or I want to take you home to live with me...HA! That is so true! I didn't really want to go outside and eat and talk with a bunch of strangers but when I did, I got so attached to Gloria that I wanted to bring her back to Tampa with us:), and maybe I wanted her to go eat dinner with us each night as well! I know, I know a lady I just met 4 days ago! Trust me, my lovely teenager has pointed out to me how "creepy" that was several times, but for having only known her just a few days she was very open and honest about her life, struggles, and we had some very in depth conversations with her.

The morning we left Gloria came to our room and asked of Madison could help her do a few things.
So for the next hour Madison & McKinley stayed outside helping put away the pool floats and cleaning the outside furniture. They loved it. Gloria told me how different our family was and how much she appreciated the way we live our life. She wanted a picture with the girls and had tears in her eyes when we left:(

Anyway, I know I am boring you so I will just post some pictures now to end my post.

Good bye Delray!

Beach day 3

On this day we went shopping and then came back to the hotel to hang out by the pool.

Even London got in on the relaxing:)
The pool and the ocean water was just a little to cold for my taste but the two Little's didn't seem to mind.

I posted this next pic on Instagram saying how much I love my manly man...laying out by the pool with London and reading a Jen Hatmaker book! HA.

That night we went out to dinner at a place called "Two Georges" and had some good seafood.

And that, along with some ice cream was a good end to day three!

Delray Beach part 2

We stayed at the Sun Dek Beach House and it is a wonderful little place. It was kind of like a little bed and breakfast type atmosphere. Each Morning, Gloria, the manager (you will hear more about her later) would make coffee and had homemade muffins and pastries for whomever wanted to come outside and sit and eat and talk. I will admit at first I was not really into this. I dont love the thought of eating with a bunch of strangers so the first morning David and McKinley went out there:) But Gloria was so nice and so I went out mainly just to say hello to her each morning.

This is where we ate each morning under the gazebo.

Goria had a big bear named "Dek" that she puts all around the property each day for the kids to find and they loved it.

By day two little miss sassy pants (aka Madison) was telling Gloria where she wanted Dek to go each day:)

Gloria was also adopted so she had a special little bond with Madison. We got to pray with Gloria 3 times throughtout our 4 days there and we pray that one day soon she will know Christ in a real and personal way. There was no doubt that God sent us to this place to stay for a reason.

We went to the beach on Sunday and it was the perfect weather to fly the kite.

We ate at some really great places too (no food pics this time, sorry).

Day 3 on blog tomorrow!

Del Ray Beach ...Part 1

A few months ago David was asked to speak at a Pastors Conference in Delray Beach. The original plan was him going by himself for a the weekend, however, when I looked at my calendar and realized the following week was spring break we decided to get a hotel for a few days and make a little mini vacation out of it...SCORE!

This was our first time to go to the Delray/ Boca Raton area and I must say it was really lovely.
This was also our first time to take our dog, London on a trip. We were "testing the waters" so
to speak to see how she would do if we take her to Alabama with us the next time we go.

London was a little squirmy at first but quickly settled in, below is her progression in the car (hey, you know I had to document it)!

She started out in David's lap and ended asleep on a pillow in my lap:)

We didn't get to the hotel untill late Friday night so we just basically came in and went to bed because David had to be at the church Saturday morning early. The girls and I dropped him off at 8:30 and then we took London to a dog park. This was our first experience at a dog park but everyone was so nice. Madison spent about 45 minutes throwing a ball to this one dog and had the best time. London wasn't so sure what she was suppose to do:)

We had about 4-5 hours to kill while David was speaking. Usually when we are on vacation David does all the driving because I am as they say, "directionally challenged". But thank goodness for the iPhone and map quest! After the park we went to eat breakfast at a place that was very dog friendly so London sat there with us.

When we dropped David off that morning at the church he was speaking at McKinley noticed a tire swing like contraption hanging from a tree and boy that was on her mind all morning. So we headed back to the church to let the girls pay for a while and even Morgan got in on the fun!

And I love this next picture...look at the smiles on their faces.

First Baptist Delray is a beautiful church and very tropical looking.

Then it started raining.... so that meant myself, three kids and a wet dog was sitting in the car for about 1.5 hrs waiting on David. I will let you guess how fun that was (no pictures of that)!

Next up we left and went to Boynton beach where we stayed for the next 4 days... I will talk about that tomorrow.

Life lately

Here is life lately through my Instagram pictures.

London has grown a little and is now up to 6Lbs. She loves to lay outside in the sun and sleep on the couch.

I found a jelly bean bracelet craft the other day online so the girls had a sitter the other night and made them..I think they ate the within 10 minutes of making them:)

While the girls were making the bracelets David & I went to the Chris Tomlin concert.

It was an amazing night of worship. There is just something about a room full of thousands of people
all signing praises to God that is so amazing.

We are trying to finish this week strong and then relax next week while the girls are out of school for spring break!

Happy Tuesday!

Today we said goodbye...

to Morgan's braces!!!

Morgan was so happy to get the braces off. I cannot believe it has already been 2 years since she they were put on.

This was the day Morgan got her braces put on...She is growing way to fast!

The two Little's were very good while we sat and waited for over an hour.

The rooms are TINY so they sat on the floor and took turns playing on the iPad.

While Morgan took snap chat selfies:)

It's now been 3 hours and she is still looking at her teeth:)

It's been a nice start to the week around here!!

Happy Monday
